Xbox Live Games with Gold: September
Boy am I one happy chappy this morning as the good guys over at Microsoft have included possibly my favourite game of the last few years Tomb Raider Definitive Edition. It’s a perfectly timed slice of awesomeness that will tie in nicely to The Rise of The Tomb Raider which is out in November for Xbox One and next year for PlayStation owners. I would unreservedly recommend playing through it and exploring every single corner of the map. It’s a brilliant game and well worth spending some serious time on even if you’re not a fan of the Lara Croft games.
Alongside Tomb Raider we also get The Deer God which is an interesting indie game from Cresent Moon Games which takes you from the role of a hunter into the body a Deer. It’s all procedurally generated so every play through is different and it looks amazing. The game is all about surviving, reincarnation and Karma and is set in 3D pixelated world giving it a unique visual style.
Tomb Raider Definitive Edition is free for Gold members from September 16th to October 15th and The Deer God is free throughout September.
