Bioshock Remastered Collection?
Could we be about to see a fully remastered Bioshock Collection? Possibly if a hastily removed post on South African retail site Raru is to be believed. There have been plenty of remastered games already this generation adding possibly the best collection of games in recent years to that list can only be a good thing surely! Having played them all i can honestly say yes and i for one would be over the moon to play through them again in all their remastered beauty.
Bioshock Infinite is my personal highlight of the franchise so far and i found it a far superior experience on the PC free from the hardware limitations of the 360 so i have no doubt that the extra power of the Xbox One and PS4 will improve them further. Infinite was the more combat focused game in the series and that really benefited from the full 60FPS on the PC so a 1080p 60 remastering would be gratefully received. The combat was more fluid and accurate on the PC and although Bioshock was very pretty on console the PC version really took it up a notch from the beautiful lighting to the astounding draw distances.
Whilst some may understandably be getting a little tired of all the remastered games it worth remembering how brilliant the Bioshock series has been so far and if this Remastered collection does happen it maybe a bridge to a new Bioshock title. If there is a new Bioshock title in the works i would love for it to be set in a futuristic dystopia set on a space station that has gone to ruin over the years. Maybe a little to similar to the original Bioshock but it would kick ass adding Zero G elements to the core gameplay.
I really hope this is happening another and with a reported launch date of 27th November we should know for certain soon.
